Wanna be Mac DJs unite
This is my favorite bit of software I have found on the Mac App store yet. It is really amazing! Both easy to jump into and use, and powerful. I (as with seemingly every other reviewer on the App store) cannot believe that it is free. http://www.mixxx.org/ Posted via email from mrt3811’s posterous | Comment »

After Race Post (Mortem)
So my mission is complete. Completed the training schedule with slight modifications. Went from running 3 miles and walking some, to finishing the Half Marathon in 1hr 58 minutes never stopping. The rain was ridiculous, the blisters are minor, and nothing blew up. I say WIN all around. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, mostly my wife who managed the children to allow me the time to train,...

Training Week 10
Successful week. Ran Saturday in a tiny hailstorm sans headphones or anything to which to listen. 12 miles 1hr 45min 8:46 miles. I am really happy with that. I added 2 miles and bad weather and only added 15 minutes to my time from last week! 10 miles this weekend and race next. Posted via email from mrt3811’s posterous | Comment »
Week 9 Double Digits
I missed updating last week, but I was still at it. This Sunday I crossed a milestone. I ran 10 miles (double digits baby!) in 90 minutes. 90 minutes total, and the last 6 were within 2 seconds of 9:00 minute miles even. Keeping in mind that as of 8 weeks ago the longest I had ever run was 3.1 miles, to say that I am really happy with this would be an understatement over gargantuan proportions....

Needs calibrating, but is very cool. Uploads to Nike running site and...
